With Harambee Stars, head coach Sebastien Migne naming his squad for the upcoming 2019 African Cup of Nations tournament in Egypt, Futaa looks at the profiles of the players who will represent Kenya in the continental showpiece.

Musa Mayieko Mohammed

DOB: June 6, 1991

Current Club: Nkana FC, Zambia

Previous Clubs: Gor Mahia (Kenya), KF Tirana (Albania)

One of the proper servants of Kenyan Premier League giants Gor Mahia. From his youthful days, Musa rose through the ranks at the club to become a captain in one of their most successful spells until he left for Albania top-flight side KF Tirana in January 2018 after being lured by former Gor Mahia head coach Marcelo Ze Maria.

His spell at Tirana lasted only for four months after a disagreement with the club; the player joining Zambian outfit Nkana FC in April 2018 and has been one key figure for the side with rumours of a move to Horaya FC and a series of clubs in the continent having been muted; the AFCON competition is a perfect stage to showcase what he can do.

Cool and collected, Musa has been one player who has been a consistent figure in the national team set up and has been deployed at right-back previously. The absence of Brian Mandela in the team boosts his chances of starting in defence.
