Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita makes Paul Put's final Guinea squad
Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita seems to have shaken off his injury after Guinea head coach Paul Put included him in the final 23-man squad for the 2019 African Cup of Nations.
Keita suffered a groin injury in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals against Barcelona and was a major doubt for the continental showpiece. The former RB Leipzig man has initially ruled out of AFCON after the injury setback but, has continued working his way towards full fitness, arriving at the pre-tournament camp base in Marrakesh on Monday night.
Napoli’s Amadou Diawara and Borussia Monchengladbach’s Ibrahima Traore are some of the renowned players included in the squad.
