Eric Tinkler has penned a contract extension with Absa Premiership side Maritzburg United.
Tinkler initially joined the club on a four-month deal with a mandate to save the club from relegation. Having passed that successfully, the Gauteng-born coach has now been handed a two-year deal, with the option of a third-year renewal.
Maritzburg proudly made the announcement on social media yesterday, some two weeks after Absa Premiership safety got secured via play-offs.
Staying with Maritzburg, the club’s star midfielder Siphesihle Ndluvu confirmed he has joined Orlando Pirates.
