At a time when Kenya needed to assemble a good team to challenge for accolades, Harambee Stars rotating scope landed in Spain where they found Ismael.

The player has his roots from Mombasa-Kenya had spent a chunk of his early life in Spain but the Football Kenya Federation though he could be a good addition in a midfield that was one of the positions Kenya wasn’t short in.


He was to make his Stars debut on 31st May 2016 against Sudan when Stars was under Stanley Okumbi and has never looked back since. Comfortable on the ball and with a vision of a good pass, the player can slot in defence too where he has featured previously in his club.

He must, however, fight for a place at AFCON with captain Victor Wanyama and Denis Odhiambo both of whom are Migne’s preferred starts in midfield.
