Chelsea winger Tammy Abraham has revealed he wants a ‘breakthrough’ at Stamford Bridge next season.
This comes after the 21-year-old’s successful loan spell with Aston Villa last season where he helped the side secure promotion to the Premier League via play-offs. Abraham is yet to rule out a permanent switch to Villa but he maintains his first intention is to work his way into Chelsea’s first team next season.
Speaking to Sky Sports, the England international said, "You can never say never. Chelsea is obviously the club that I have been at since a young so the aim is to try and breakthrough there.”
"Like I say, you can never say never. We'll see out things look."
Abraham netted 26 goals in 42 appearances in all competitions for Villa last season.
