Philippe Coutinho says he is not bothered by boos coming from Brazil fans after he helped his side to register a 3-0 win over Bolivia at the Copa America on Friday.

Tite’s men were booed by the fans after settling for a goalless draw in the first half something which didn’t bother the Barcelona forward. After the restart of the second half, Coutinho put Brazil ahead in the 50th minute from spot-kick before adding the second three minutes later. Everton netted the third and the winning goal in the 85th minute to ensure Brazil start the campaign flying high.

“Being jeered by the crowd is part of football. The Brazil fans ask a lot of us because they want us to play well,” said Coutinho.

”The important thing is to be strong so that we can play better, which is what we did after scoring the first goal. It was hard, like all the opening games in a tournament. After the goal, we started to play better. Tite told us that we had to have more patience and adjust to the playing style.”

Brazil will be up against Venezuela on Wednesday 19th in the second match of Group A.
