Cape Town City have signed Orlando Pirates’ utility player Abubakkar Mobara.
Following what was a career setback for the Ajax Cape Town academy graduate in Soweto, City have announced the signing of Mobara on a free transfer.
The club known as the Citizens announced the deal via social media this morning, adding that he joins on a whopping four-year deal.

Mobara leaves Pirates having made only eight appearances from a possible 40 plus games in the 2018/19 season.
Being the versatile player he is, it remains to be seen if Benni McCarthy will utilize the 25-year-old Mobara as a central defender, right back or central midfielder.
