Maurizio Sarri was officially unveiled as the Juventus head coach on Thursday as he revealed that there is a clause on his contract that requires him to wear the club's suit.
A suit with a Juventus badge on it was common with former managers Antonio Conte and Massimiliano Allegri. Sarri became known for some of his quirky superstitions at Chelsea and it seems his choice of clothing on the touchline will also be up for debate as he looks to be cleared to wear his tracksuit on the touchline instead of more formal attire.
Speaking in his first press conference as Juventus coach, Sarri revealed the bizarre clause in his contract, "I prefer not to wear a Juventus suit on the pitch. Off the pitch, when I represent Juventus, I am obliged to wear it and it is written in my contract.
"But on the pitch, I would prefer not to, but we will discuss it. The important thing, at my age, is they don't ask me to go naked."
