Betting Previews

Argentina has yet to impress at Copa America so far but they can reach the semifinals if they beat a Venezuela side that has yet to win a match in the competition thus far.

With so much at stake, here's a full betting preview and our best betting options so that you can with betPawa!

Match preview 📰

Lionel Messi and Argentina left it to the last minute to claim their place in the round of 16, just as they did last year at the World Cup. Their campaign started disastrously with a 2-0 loss to Colombia and they followed that up with a 1-1 draw with Paraguay. Their sole victory came against a fading Qatar side, and even that was unconvincing.

It won't be easy for Lionel Scaloni's men against an undefeated Venezuela unit and for that reason, we are backing a low-scoring affair.

Team news 💫

Luis Del Pino appears to have lost his place in the team after getting sent off in the group stage, with Roberto Rosales and Ronald Hernandez now preferred at full-back. Newcastle striker Salomon Rondon will lead the line for Venezuela and hope to unsettle a suspect back line.

For Argentina, Tottenham man Juan Foyth will reportedly shift out to right-back, paving the way for Germán Pezzella's return, while Marcos Acuna is tipped to replace Rodrigo de Paul in midfield. If Argentina's attacking trio of Messi, Aguero and Lautaro Martinez can click, anything is possible, but there haven't been any signs of that happening yet.
