Manchester United has reportedly launched a €35m bid for Dinamo Zagreb attacking midfielder Dani Olmo.
The 21-year-old Spaniard enjoyed a breakthrough 2018/19 campaign, scoring 13 goals and assisting nine in 43 appearances in the Croatian top flight.
Croatian outlet Sportske Novosti believed that United is desperate to sign the player after he starred for Spain in their recent Euro U21 triumph.
Speaking to T-Portal, however, the 21-year-old insists he is unaware of any interest in his signature.
“Honestly, I know absolutely nothing about it,” he said. “But I’m not burdened by this.
“If I do leave? It’s very simple. I want a club where I will play.
“Because I am still young and for me, it is most important that I have minutes.”
Olmo was released by Barcelona five years ago after he spent seven years developing in their famed youth academy, La Masia.
This rumour seems to lack substantial evidence to back it up but we'll be monitoring the story if it develops further.
