Kenya Premier side Posta Rangers has released eight players as they embark on a rebuilding plan to prepare for the 2019/20 Premier League season.

The club, which retained its Premier League status early last month by winning the relegation-promotion playoff, has moved to create room for new recruits for the coming season.

The team narrowly avoided the drop last season, needing to beat Nairobi Stima in the playoff match to retain their status.

Some of the dropped players include former Kariobangi Sharks duo of Herit Mungai and Francis Manoah and Ugandan keeper Martin Lule who joined the club in March.

Other dropped players are John Nairuka, Dennis Ongeri, Bernard Arum, John Nairuka, and Eliud Emase.

The club will also miss the services of veteran winger Joseph Nyaga and midfielder Jerry Santo, who have hung their boots after a long career.

The Mail-men have moved to fill the positions, and have so far announced the signing of four new players;  midfielders Cain Okeyo, Michael Luvutsi and Jackson Dwang and Bidco United defender Dickens Mwema.
