Official: Saviour Nkonkola joins Zesco United

Prison Leopards have confirmed the departure of Star forward Saviour Nkonkola who has signed a three-year loan deal with Zesco United.

The Kabwe based National division one side have confirmed the departure of the attacking midfielder in a post on their official Facebook page.

"Zesco United have signed Prisons Leopards Star Saviour Nkonkola on a three-year loan deal. Saviour was instrumental in Leopard's campaign during the 2019 MTN FAZ transitional league, scoring two goals against Zesco United at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola. We wish him all the best."

Nkonkola was one of the standout performers for Leopards and gave Zesco United a tough time scoring a brace in the 5-2 loss at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

Zesco United are looking to build a strong team after their dismal performance in the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup. The Ndola giants also need to find a replacement for star striker Lazarus Kambole who has moved to PSL side Kaizer Chiefs.
