Pulisic proves once again he's ready to replace Eden Hazard at Chelsea
Chelsea's loss of Eden Hazard to Real Madrid has been the highlight of the current summer transfer window, with the Belgian making his dream move in a deal worth €100m.
His move was, and still is, painful to the club and the fans alike, especially knowing that the club is banned from signing new players.
The club, however, did a shrewd piece of business when the moved to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Christian Pulisic in January.
The American might not be like-for-like replacement of the ever-green Eden Hazard, but his qualities and ability to play in different roles give him the edge of other players in the Blues' squad.
Chelsea fans got a sneak preview of what to expect from the 21-year-old in the coming season when Pulisic shone for his country during recently concluded CONCACAF tournament, where they lost in the finals to Mexico.
His showing has already seen the youngster hailed as the greatest player in American history, and considering his age, he can only get better.
The winger's dribbling skills and quick movement on and off the ball reminded Chelsea fans of a young Hazard when he joined the club six seasons ago.
His three goals and three assists in the tournament saw him awarded the best Young Player of the Tournament, and was arguably the best player through the tourney.

His form and hunger will be a welcome relief to Frank Lampard, who will be tasked to lead the side to glory without Hazard and the chance to sign new players.
At Chelsea, he will fight for a starting berth with Pedro, Willian and Callum Hudson-Odoi, but with the Spaniard and the Brazillian nearing the end of their best years, the young American will have the chance to shine and grow to a world-beater.
Pulisic is eager to join his new teammates, and will reportedly cut short his holiday to link up with the rest of the squad, who are already in camp.
