It's a blockbuster quarterfinal clash tonight as Ivory Coast's fearsome attacking unit takes on an Algeria side that is yet to concede a goal at AFCON 2019.
Will it be a case of attack vs defence and, if so, who will come out on top?
Ivory Coast (4-2-3-1) 🐘
Gbohouo; Bagayoko, Traoré, Kanon, Coulibaly; Gbamin, Dié; Pépé, Kessié, Zaha; Kodjia
Serge Aurier remains suspended so Mamadou Bagayoko will keep his place at right-back. Franck Kessie will continue in the centre of midfield and will be relied upon to make probing passes that his pacey teammates Wilfried Zaha and Nicolas Pepe can latch onto in the final third.
Algeria (4-1-4-1) 🦊
M'Bolhi; Atal, Mandi, Benlamri, Bensebaini; Guedioura; Mahrez, Feghouli, Bennacer, Belaïli; Bounedjah
We expect Algeria to remain unchanged here from their 3-0 win over Guinea in the round of 16. They're the only side left in the competition with a 100% record and have yet to concede a goal. Their back five picks itself. No star household names but a blend of experienced campaigners dotted around the world of club football.
Midfield anchorman Adlène Guedioura has vast experience in England after long stints in France and he will shield the back four, allowing creative central men Sofiane Feghouli and Ismaël Bennacer to express themselves. Out wide, the excellent skipper Riyad Mahrez provides the star quality in the side behind hardworking target man Bounedjah.
