The three Arsenal players who might be used in Zaha deal
Arsenal are willing to do anything possible to land Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha and have reportedly willing to include three players in their latest bid.
The Gunners initially had their £40 million bid for the Ivory Coast international rejected, with Palace valuing their prized asset at double the figure.
For this reason, the club is willing to do business by adding three players, in an effort to sweeten the deal.
Here are the players the club is said to be willing to release in the deal;
1. Calum Chambers
Chambers has failed to break into the starting lineup at Arsenal and was shipped out on loan away to Fulham. He had a decent campaign, although the club was relegated at the end of the 2018/19 season.
Despite winning the player of the season for the club, he might not be in coach Unai Emery's plans, and the club might be willing to give him out, maybe on loan, as part of the deal.
2. Mohamed Elneny
The Egyptian has never been a regular starter at Emirates having joined from Basel in 2016 and is probably nowhere near Unai Emery's plans for the coming campaign.
He came close to leaving the club in January but stuck around. With the summer already here, he might want to move in search of first-team football, and this might be the ideal opportunity.
3. Carl Jenkinson
Jenkinson has spent his time away from the club in recent seasons, having been loaned out in the 2014/15 season to West Ham, before returning to the Hammers for another loan spell the following season.
The right-back then spent time on loan at Birmingham City during the 2017/18 campaign, and was at the club, starting in their match against Bournemouth in February. He might be deemed surplus at the club.
