Theodosis Iacovu who was the head coach until now has been moved to the Technical Director's role while his assistants Dennis Njapau and George Phiri alongside Goalkeeper Joel Kanyeba have been shown the door.

"Gomes football Club would like to announce the release of Assistant Coaches Dennis Njapau and George Phiri alongside Goalkeeper Coach Joel Kanyeba with Head coach Theodosis Iacovu being moved to the Technical Director's role.

Management believes in order for the club to move forward the changes were in order and have therefore appointed Osward Mutapa as the New Head Coach and will be assisted by Dabwiso Nkhoma and current physical trainer Collins Nyoka. Yona Phiri takes up the Goalkeepers coaching role."

The Ndola based club qualified to the newly formed Eden University/FAZ National Division One after falling short of Superleague promotion finishing behind Kansashi.
