Zambia Super League side Green Eagles have set up a quarter-final meeting with Kenyan Champions Gor Mahia following their 2-1 win over Ugandan outfit Proline FC at the ongoing CECAFA Kagame Cup.
Eagles and Proline came into the match needing a win to progress to the quarter-finals as both were on three points from their first two games with identical results.
Kennedy Musonda scored a brace to help the Kawale Boys to a 2-1 win. Hakim Kiwanuka scored the consolation goal for the Ugandan side.
Eagles will now face Gor Mahia in the quarterfinals. The winner of the tournament will walk away with $30 000 while the runners up will pocket $20 000.
