Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has revealed that George Lebese is most likely to leave the defending champions.
As every loan spell stands, Lebese is back at Sundowns after an unsuccessful temporary spell at SuperSport United - and coach Mosimane has said the situation is now unfortunate.
"He went to SuperSport hoping that he would secure a contract‚" Mosimane said to Sowetan Live.
"He indicated that he wants to play but I cannot guarantee him time on the pitch. He is not the only one‚ there are others I can't guarantee game time.”
The Mamelodi-born player who left Amakhosi in search of game-time, joined Kabo Yellow in August 2017, has only made 16 appearances and scored two goals.
"He spoke to you guys a lot and was on social media‚ saying that he wants to play. But I am not on social media.”
The former reigning PSL coach of the season also added that the ex-Kaizer Chiefs attacker has the difficult task of competing with Gaston Sirino and Themba Zwane on Sundowns’ left attack.
"I can't guarantee him a game and I don't want the poor guy saying I am back here and I am not playing again. Unfortunately, he is playing in the same position as Gaston Sirino and Themba Zwane.
"He can speak to his agents and see what happens but it is a bit difficult and we must be honest,’ concluded Mosimane.
