Future Stars midfielder Stephen Njeru 'Olunga' is keen to help his side lift the Kriss Darling Cup which is set to kick off on Monday 15th at Woodley Grounds.
Kriss Darling tournament is set to enter its 4th edition with 24 teams participating. Njeru's side Stars is in Group D alongside Kibra Soccer, Kibra St Senior and Mashujaa. The midfielder is keen to help his side win this year's tournament and has urged his teammates to play every match as a final.
"As a player, my goal is to help the team and work as a team reach the finals n work extra hard and become champions," Njeru told Futaa.
" I would like to tell my teammates to focus and play every game as finals," he added.
Stars, playing under their head coach Benjamin Kipruto will kick off their Group D match against Kibra Soccer on Wednesday 17th starting from 11:00 AM EAT at Woodley Grounds.
