Asante Kotoko attacker Abdul Fatawu Safiu is currently undergoing trials with Swedish topflight side Helsinborg IF.
The player who has been heavily linked with a lot of clubs in Europe travelled to Sweden last Sunday in order to be assessed by the club before signing a contract.
According to the agent of player Yussif Chibsah, the coach of the club has requested to assess the player closely before a deal can be finalized.
“Abdul Fatawu left Ghana last Sunday to Helsingborgs IF in Sweden.
“The deal is yet to be finalized because the head coach (Henrik Larsson) want to assess him (Fatawu) before he signs an official contract for the club,” Chibsah told Otec FM Sports.
Fatawu has had a very good season with the Porcupine Warriors scoring 10 goals in the tier one league.
