Tottenham Hotspur has omitted defender Danny Rose from their preseason travelling squad that is slated to participate in the 2019 International Champions Cup matches in Singapore and Shanghai.
Rose is said to be angling at a move away from Spurs and the omission is to allow him to negotiate for a deal.
In a statement on the club’s porta, the club stated that Ben Davies, Eric Dier and Cameron Carter-Vickers have been left behind so as to continue their rehabilitation at Hotspur Way.
Apart from Rose, the club noted that Vincent Janssen and Georges-Kevin Nkoudou have been granted additional time off in order to explore prospective opportunities with other clubs; the club having midfielder Christian Eriksen in the team despite rumours that he is angling for a move too
Serge Aurier, Davinson Sanchez and Victor Wanyama will return to Enfield to start pre-season training next week following commitments with their national teams at summer tournaments.
