The Kenya Women Premier League continued on Saturday 20 July with different games taking place across different pitches around the country.
Makolanders were the biggest winners after registering a 4-1 win over Mathare United Women in one of four FKF Women Premier League matches played on Saturday, July 20, 2019.
Tabaka Chacha gave them a sixth-minute lead before Jane Ndung’e doubled their advantage in the 37th minute for a 2-0 halftime score. Fauzia Kaunjeri halved the deficit for Mathare in the 50th minute from the spot but Amy Lasu (80th) and Sharon Adhiambo (87th) scored late to quash any ambition of a comeback.

Thika Queens, meanwhile, beat Wadadia 3-1 in one of two matches scheduled for the Mumias Sports Complex. Vihiga Queens were handed all three points in the second match after their would-be opponents, Kibera Girls Soccer Academy, failed to turn up.
