Nigerian midfielder Semi Ajayi has said goodbye to Rotherham United fans after completing a move to West Brom.
Ajayi completed a £1.3m move to the English Championship club on a four-year contract.
The move really delighted the player and he has taken to social media to appreciate his now former teammates, staff and fans of Rotherham.
“Thank you to all those connected with Rotherham United for an amazing (two) 2 and a half years (stay at the club),” Ajayi tweeted on his official Twitter handle on Saturday.
“To the staff, my teammates and the fans, thank you all for accepting me and embracing me in a way which allowed me to feel truly at home.
“I’ll never forget the special bond and memories we’ve created since I joined the club. From Scunthorpe away in front of our fans , to getting promoted at Wembley and of course, scenes at QPR in the last minute.
"I sincerely wish all connected with the club the very best for the future. I will miss you all.”
Ajayi missed the 2019 AFCON final cut after Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr dropped him and striker Kelechi Iheanacho before the squad left their Asaba training camp for Egypt.
