The Copper Queens will be without three-star players for this year's Cosafa Women’s Championship who will be away in Europe on club duty.
The three are Barbara Banda who plays for Escuelas de Fútbol de Logroño in Spain and the former Indeni duo of attackers Misozi Zulu and Rachael Kundananji who turn out for Kazakhstan giants BIIK Kazygurt.
Coach Bruce Mwape has since named a 26-member provisional squad ahead of the annual tournament. The team will enter residential camp this evening.
This years tournament will be staged in Nelson Mandela Bay from July 31-August 11. Zambia is in Group B alongside Namibia, Mauritius, and Botswana.
