Nkana in Lusaka for a 10 day training camp

Zambia Super League, Nkana Football Club has traveled to Lusaka for a 10-day training camp ahead of the kick-off of the new Super League season set for 17th August.

The Kitwe giants are expected to play a number of practice matches whilst in Lusaka. Coach Beston Chambeshi has named a 26 member squad for the Lusaka camp.

Chambeshi has included the nine new players who have joined the club. Congolese striker Walter Bwalya Binene Sabwa who has been rumored to be on his way out is missing from the list. 2018 Zambia Superleague player of the year Idriss Ilunga Mbombo who is keen on returning to Nkana despite having a running contract with Sudanese side Al Hilal has been excused while Ronald Kampamba has remained behind due to injury.

Musa Mohammed and Hassan Kessy Ramadhan are still not back after representing their countries at the just-ended Africa Cup of Nations while Gift Zulu and Kelvin Mubanga Kampamba are out with the National team preparing for a CHAN qualifier against Botswana.
