After Pep Guardiola insisted that Bayern Munich have been talking a lot about Leroy Sane, the Bavarian's chairman, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has hit back at the Spanish manager.
Guardiola recently admitted that he has not spoken to Bayern about Sane, and repeated his hopes that there will be no deal with the German side, "For a long time they talk about their interest but Leroy is our player and hopefully he can stay next season and next season and next season."
Rummenigge hit back at Guardiola's comments, noting that he does not know about everything that goes on at City, "I do not want to submit any water level reports. If there is something to announce, then we will do that. But that's not so far. I do not know if Pep knows everything that goes on in his club. No idea. Let's wait."
Sane was one of Guardiola's first signings, joining from Schalke for around £45m, and the winger has registered 39 goals and 45 assists in 133 appearances for City.
