Kenyan Premier League newbies Wazito FC has not stopped with their spending spree with the league body confirming that they had snapped striker Elvis Rupia from Zambia Super League side Power Dynamos.
Rupia joined Dynamos in July 2017 after bagging 15 goals in 22 appearances for Nzoia Sugar and joins a strikeforce that has already been revamped by the re-acquisition of Piston Mutamba from Sofapaka FC.
Apart from the duo, Wazito has snapped up the services of Joshua Otieno, Derrick Otanga and goalkeeper Kevin Omondi all from Sony Sugar FC.
Goalkeeper Gad Mathews has joined from Kariobangi Sharks, Kenya U17 Keeper Bixente Lizarazu and Bernard Ochieng from Vihiga United have all joined the side.
Apart from the confirmed signings, the team is believed to be interested in the services of former Gor Mahia duo of ABouba Sibomana and Karim Nizigiyamana.
Sibomana has been training with the side with Nizigiyamana negotiations believed to be at an advanced stage.
Wazito FC begins their journey back in the top flight with a clash against Nzoia Sugar FC at Kenyatta Stadium-Machakos on Saturday 31st August.
