Modise retired from on-the-field duties on the final day of the season at Thohoyandou, and two months later, he has now changed his tracksuit to a suit.
“Teko is working, he has already started," Comitis told Kick Off.
"He is the Executive PRO, public relations in terms of matters of sponsors and the technical matters. He is an all-rounder on every aspect. He goes to the fans, becomes an ambassador, we are very happy with him you know.”
Comitis added that the 36-year-old will essential dabble in the key areas of the club, which includes technical aspects.
"He gets involved in all the main issues regarding the club, and you know he will also assist me on the technical direction of the club.”
"He was busy with the AFCON, he just finished with that and he's resuming his duties today back in Cape Town,” concluded the former Ajax Cape Town boss.
City get the new season underway away at the always tricky Baroka FC on Saturday 3 August 2019.
