Callum Hudson-Odoi is set to put the Bayern Munich transfer rumors to bed by committing his future to Chelsea with reports indicating that he is set to sign a new five-year contract.
The 18-year-old England winger handed in a transfer request in January after Chelsea rejected a £35m bid from Bayern Munich. Hudson-Odoi is yet to feature for Chelsea since April after suffering an Achilles injury but is set to return to action in September.
The winger had entered the final 12 months of his previous deal but, with Frank Lampard appointed as head coach and Eden Hazard leaving for Real Madrid coupled with the fact that Chelsea is currently serving a transfer ban, Hudson-Odoi is set to be handed more game time next season.
Hudson-Odoi made 24 appearances and scored five goals under former boss Maurizio Sarri last season but he had to wait until April to make his first Premier League start, having already made his England debut.
