Guardiola reiterates Sane stay after Manchester City dismantles Kitchee

Pep Guardiola has reiterated that he wants winger Leroy Sane to stay with Manchester City after the club beat Kitchee 6-1 in a pre-season friendly earlier today.

Sane has been linked with a move away from the Premier League champions with Bayern Munich tipped the favourites to land the Germany international. Guardiola said he wants to see the 23-year-old to remain with the Citizens while also praising the progress of the new signings Rodri and Angelino.
“He [Leroy Sane] had a good game, especially in the second half. He is a guy who we appreciate, I like him a lot. I think he can be better. Two times, three times I have said that we want him to stay,” said Guardiola.

“Both have the ability to play different sides. Angelino will improve, Rodrigo already has the experience. He is so smart. He pays a lot of attention to what we try to do. We don't have any doubts about those players. They will adapt to the way we play,” he added.

David Silva opened the scoring before as Sane grabbed a brace with Nabil Touaizi and Iker Pozo each netting a goal.
