Manchester United is on the verge of signing Sergej Milinković-Savić from Lazio with the Serbian’s agent flying into England's capital to complete a deal this afternoon.
At least, that’s according to Gazzetta dello Sport who say that Mateja Kezman, who represents the central midfield playmaker, has arrived in London to speak with the United transfer executives.
The Italian newspaper claims that the deal is ‘practically done’ with United paying €75m upfront and €15m in bonuses, bringing the total deal up to a whopping €90m. The 24-year-old Serbian looks set to sign a long-term contract worth €6m per year at Old Trafford.
As it usually happens in the transfer window, this move might set the wheels in motion for a few other deals to go through. Is Milinković-Savić a key domino to fall in Paul Pogba's expected departure to Man United?
We'll keep a close eye on this story as it develops.
