Absa Premiership side Cape Town City have signed Bernio Enzo Verhagen.

The club announced via social media last night that the 25-year-old Verhagen has joined City from FC Dinamo-Auto of Moldova.

The Dutchman becomes coach Benni Mccarthy’s third signing of the season including Abbubaker Mobara and Tashreeq Morris.

The left-footed winger becomes the third Dutchman at City alongside midfielder Chris David and goalkeeper Peter Leeuwenburgh.

“Cape Town City is delighted to announce the signing of Dutch winger Bernio Enzo Verhagen from Dinamo Tiraspol,” City posted.

With the ambition to go higher than last season's fourth finish, The Citizens will start the new season away at Baroka FC on Saturday 3 August 2019.
