Ahead of Manchester United's clash against AC Milan on Saturday 3rd August, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that Paul Pogba will sit out of the clash due to an injury.
Pogba had been named in the traveling squad that flew to Cardiff on Friday, but manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed the midfielder picked up an injury late in the training session before United set off. The World Cup winner has featured in every pre-season game for United but limped out of a training session ahead of the Kristiansund game.
Speaking to the United App, Solskjaer revealed that Pogba picked up an injury and will miss the Milan clash, "At the end of the session today, Paul got a back spasm, the same issue he had last week when he missed the session in Norway. But I think he’ll be available early next week."
Pogba joins Romelu Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez, Matteo Darmian and Joel Pereira in remaining in Manchester.
