Nigeria Professional Football League club Heartland have announced Fidelis Ilechukwu as their new coach.
Until the latest announcement, Ilechukwu was coach of MFM FC.
Ilechukwu ended his 13-year spell with MFM FC, a club he guided from the Amateur to the top flight and to their first ever CAF Champions League and Confederations Cup in 2017
There has been rumours of Ilechukwu's MFM exit, but the club and coach have both denied.
However, Heartland confirmed the arrival of the coach known as “The Working One”.
“The Working One” is in the new man in charge of the Soccer Scientists 💃💃💃 #WelcomeIlechukwu,” the club stated on Twitter.
The tenure of his contract and other details are yet to be revealed.
