After a frustrating campaign last season, that was plagued by injuries, Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Victor Wanyama has been linked with a shock move to Bournemouth.
The Kenyan skipper's time at Spurs has been put in jeopardy following the arrival of £65m club-record signing Tanguy Ndombele from Olympique Lyon. Wanyama is yet to feature in any pre-season game for Spurs after being handed an extended break following his African Cup of Nations participation.
Upon his return to North London, Wanyama has again picked up an injury which was confrimed by the club's official website, "Injury updates: Eric Dier, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Ben Davies are continuing their rehabilitation, while Victor Wanyama reported irritation in his knee after training today and has remained in Enfield to be assessed."
Spurs would look to recoup at least the £11.5m they paid for him from Southampton, with West Ham and Turkish side Galatasaray also interested, according to the Daily Mail.
