Tottenham's Kion Etete scores against Liverpool in Oberndorf Tournament

Tottenham Hotspur and Nigeria-eligible striker Kion Etete found the back of the net for his side against Liverpool in the semifinal fixture of the Oberndorf tournament on Sunday, August 4.

Elijah Dixon-Bonner opened Liverpool's account and Etete went on to level matters for the North London club in the second half. 

Etete who was previously at Notts County inspired the Spurs U19s to the final by scoring in the shootout (4-2) after both teams could not be separated in normal 

Defender Timothy Eyoma, goalkeeper Joshua Oluwayemi, and Etete were part of the travelling party to Germany for the prestigious tournament. 

Tottenham reached the last four of the competition after beating RB Leipzig and Paris Saint-Germain and drawing with FC Midtjylland in the group stage.

A Midtjylland side featuring Nigerian trio Justice Ohajunwa, Jibril Abubakar Antala, and Raphael Nwadike Onyedika won the trophy after they beat Tottenham in a penalty shootout.
