Nigerian defender Kenneth Omeruo has reiterated that he wants to remain at La Liga club.
Omeruo spent the last season on loan at the La Liga outfit from Chelsea where he made 28 league appearances for the Manuel Pellegrino’s men.
His improved performance caught the eyes of Leganes management and they are keen on handing him a permanent deal, increasing their bid to €4.5m from the earlier €4m.
“Leganes is a team that I want to be a part of because their coach and the club trust me, and they want to give me many opportunities.
"I am happy that they are making efforts, and have increased their offer,” Omeruo told Marca.
But parent club Chelsea reportedly turned down figure as they are holding out for a higher fee in the region of €6m for the centre-back.
