Everton sign Monaco's Sidibe

English Premier League side Everton have signed France international Djibril Sidibe on a year loan from AS Monaco.

Confirming what is a busy summer of five signings to date, Everton announced Sibibe via the club’s social media last night. The club also confirmed that the 27-year-old right back’s loan deal includes a one-year option to buy.

Sidibe joins adds to five other new faces that include: Jonas Lossl (goalkeeper from Huddersfield), Fabian Delph (forward from Man City), Jean-Philippe Gbamin (midfielder from Mainz) and Moise Kean (forward from Juventus).

“Djibril Sidibe joins the Toffees on loan for 2019/20, with an option to buy. Bienvenue, Djibril!,” posted the club.

"It is important to have different options in each position and with Djibril and Seamus, we now have two high-quality right-backs,” Everton manager Marco Silva said.
