Newly appointed Gor Mahia head coach Steve Polack recently signed a two-year contract with the club and revealed that his football philosophy is all about "mixing it up".
K'Ogalo have dominated the Kenyan Premier League in the recent past, winning six of the last seven titles which include the last three consecutive crowns. Polack comes with a wealth of experience having coached in the continent following stints in King Faisal Babes, Berekum Chelsea, and Asante Kotoko.
Polack revealed his football philosophy is all about mixing it up, "Basically my philosophy is when you defend you defend as a team, I do not like this knowledge that defending is only for the back four. It starts from the front and if you have a good basis from the front defending becomes simpler.
"In terms of attack, I would like to try and play from the back but then again I can play long balls so I can mix it up. Its football that means you have to play foot and ball so you want to play as much as you can on the floor so that's basically what my philosophy is all about."
