Former Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku scored four goals on his debut for Inter Milan as they whitewashed Italian fourth division side Virtus Bergamo 8-0.
Lukaku secured a move to Inter on transfer deadline day for £73 million after being linked with the Italian giants all summer. The Belgian did not feature for United at all in pre-season but the 26-year-old made his mark on his first appearance for his new club in an emphatic victory as Sebastiano Esposito and Matias Vecino bagged a brace each.
Speaking after the match, Conte revealed that Lukaku still has to work on his fitness, "Obviously, Lukaku also needs to do a lot of work in training, both physically and on tactics. He is an excellent purchase and we are very happy. He wants to work really hard to be ready as soon as possible."
Inter Milan open their Serie A campaign against newly-promoted Lecce at the San Siro on August 26.
