History : Copper Queens captain becomes first Zambian player to score in UEFA Women's Champions League

Zambia Women national team captain Misozi 'CR7' Zulu became the first Zambian footballer to score in the UEFA Women Champions League while Rachel Kundananji became the second to do so.

The duo scored a goal each in BIIK Kazygurt 4-1 win over Finish side Pallokerho-35 Vantaa. Misozi opened the scores in the 23rd minute while Kundananji added a third in the 60th minute.

Defenders Yekaterina Babshuk and Marija Ilić scored the other two goals for the Kazakhstan side while Vera Saastamoinen scored the consolation goal for the Finish side.

Kundananji was playing her second game in the competition  after making her debut in the 2-0 win over Flora while Misozi was playing her third game having played in the 9-0 thrashing of the Faroe Islands side EB Streymur / Skála where she set up one of the goals and coming off the bench to play the last 20 minutes of the 2-0 win over Flora.
