Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo is set to miss his side’s in-house friendly at Villar Perosa on Wednesday due to a thigh strain.
The Italian giants confirmed via their Twitter account that the former Real Madrid ace had suffered a ‘slight strain in his left thigh muscle.’ The superstar, however, will continue to work on his fitness away from the first-team squad. They are looking to keep their star man under wraps ahead of the start of the new Serie A season on August 24 against Parma.
The club will also be without their summer signing Matthijs de Ligt who has a blister but Danilo, Blaise Matuidi and Paulo Dybala all start.
