Nigerian defender Tyronne Ebuehi has been faced with fresh injury setback and is set to miss some matches.
The Benfica defender suffered a cruciate ligament few weeks after joining Benfica from Dutch club, ADO Den Haag in 2018 and consequently missed the rest of the season.
Ebuehi also missed the Super Eagles participation at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, as he finds his way back to fitness.
He got back to full fitness and featured in some pre-season games for the Portuguese champions.
However, according to a report in Portuguese online news hub, ABola, Ebuehi has sustained a fresh injury on his right thigh which will see him miss a number of games again for Benfica this season.
He was included in Gernot Rohr's 23-man-squad for Super Eagles friendly against Ukraine on September 10.
