Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has given a response over the club’s chase for Kaizer Chiefs striker Khama Billiat.
With Sundowns and Pitso Mosimane first revealing that Billiat is a player they are chasing to sign this season, an unimpressed Chiefs released a damning statement last night to shock the local scene.
Consequently, Mosimane has now been asked to forward his views in which he declines to detail his thoughts but instead lays down the rules of going about signing a player.
“I don’t want to comment on a player of another club. We have to be careful and respectful‚” Mosimane said to Times Live.
“The rules say that if Sundowns want Billiat they must approach Chiefs club to club. But I don’t want to comment‚” added the four-time Absa Premiership winner.
Meanwhile, Sundowns are set to take on Bloemfontein Celtic in this weekend’s MTN8 quarter-finals clash in Pretoria at 8 pm.
