Laliga giants Barcelona have reached an agreement with Bundesliga side Bayern Munich for the transfer of Philippe Coutinho according to Sky in Germany.
Apart from Sky, Catalan radio station RAC1 confirmed the deal has been struck, and Coutinho will reportedly join the Bundesliga giants on an initial season-long loan.
The Brazilian has not been included in Barca's squad for their La Liga opener at Athletic Bilbao this evening with the Brazilian having widely been tipped to be used as a makeweight in a deal to bring Neymar back to the Nou Camp.
Neymar possible destination remains Barcelona with Coutinho’s departure signalling a possible return for the player who is also in the radar of Real Madrid.
Coutinho left Liverpool for Barcelona in January 2018 when he sealed a £142million move to the Spanish side but has struggled with the Blaugrana, failing to establish himself as a regular starter under Ernesto Valverde.
The Brazilian has made 75 appearances in all for Barca, scoring 21 goals.
