The Neymar transfer saga has taken a fresh new twist with Paris Saint-Germain demanding Raphaël Varane and Vinícius Júnior in exchange if the Brazilian superstar is to join Real Madrid.
Neymar has been linked with a move back to Barcelona following his world-record switch from the Spanish champions for £200m back in 2017. According to Telefoot, PSG have made it clear they want Raphaël Varane and Vinícius Júnior in a swoop deal for Neymar.
The Parisian club have already started to prepare for life without Neymar with Daily Mail reporting that initial talks have taken place with Juventus about an €80m deal for Paulo Dybala.
PSG head coach, Thomas Tuchel however hinted at Neymar staying at the club before their encounter against Stade Rennes in Ligue 1, "He (Neymar) is my player and when I think of a strong team, it includes him. If there is no solution for him, he will stay with us. For now, nothing has changed. Neymar has three years left on his contract."
With the European transfer window shutting in September 2nd, Neymar's future remains in the balance.
