Ousmane Dembele has persistently angered the club with his attitude problems and was at it again after failing to show up for scans on his injury.
Following the 1-0 defeat at the hands Athletic Bilbao on Friday night in their season opener, the Frenchman picked up yet another injury. Subsequent tests have confirmed that Dembélé could be facing a five weeks spell on the sidelines with a hamstring problem.
The test, however, took place later than scheduled as Dembele failed to show up in the set time. According to MARCA Barcelona had originally scheduled tests for Saturday morning to determine the extent of the problem for Dembélé. The medical team were left furious after the former Borussia Dortmund man failed to show up.
The medical team's calls went begging after attempted contact with Dembélé, who did not respond to their requests.
He apparently came in for a frosty reception when he eventually turned up on Monday at the club’s headquarters for tests.
