🇬🇭⚫️ Breaking: Former Ghana striker Agogo dies

The former Ghana international Junior Agogo has died at the age of 40.

Agogo's death happens four years since suffering a stroke  2015 which was shortly after announcing his retirement from football. The former Black Stars international received his final respects from the Ghana Football Assosication's social media account this afternoon.

"The Ghana Football Association is saddened by news of the sudden demise of ex-Ghana star Junior Agogo. On behalf of the Ghanaian football fraternity, we extend our sincere condolences to the family of our Black Star, Junior Agogo. May his soul Rest In Peace," posted GFA.

The former stiker's extensive career included 12 goals in 27 Black Stars appearances. His long list of career clubs include Sheffield Wednesday, QPR and Zamalek.
