Serie A giants Napoli have confirmed the acquisition of Hirving Lozano from Dutch side PSV Eindhoven for an undisclosed period.
In a statement on their website, Napoli said: “Napoli makes the definitive purchase of Hirving Lozano from PSV Eindhoven.
“This is the tweet of President De Laurentiis who welcomes the arrival of the Mexican striker in blue: ‘Benvenuto Hirving’.”
24-year-old wide-man Lozano joined Eredivisie outfit PSV from Pachuca in the summer of 2017 and has since turned out as one of the best attackers in the game currently.
Goals and Assists
Despite playing out wide, Lozano racked up 10 goals and 3 assists in his first 12 appearances in the Dutch top-flight, eventually finishing his debut season in Europe with 19 goals and 11 assists across all competitions.
Lozano was born on 30 July 1995 in Mexico City and made his debut in the game with Pachuca where he scored 43 goals and winning a championship in 2016.
In the national team, after making all the steps in the youth, he won the North American Championship with the Under 20 in 2015 and is the top scorer of the tournament with 5 goals.
He has 35 appearances for the Mexico national team and scoring 9 goals in the process.
