Absa Premiership giants Kaizer Chiefs have transferred Andriamirado ‘Dax’ Andrianarimanana to Black Leopards.
Following extended speculations that the Madagascar international is on his way to Black Leopards, Chiefs have this afternoon made the final confirmation.
Chiefs announced via their website that ‘Dax’ has had to be sacrificed to meet the Absa Premiership foreign quota of five players per club.
"The club has reached its foreign players quota as per the rules and as a result decided to release the Malagasy midfielder. The 28-year-old player joined Chiefs in 2018 from Fosa Juniors in Madagascar after a protracted transfer process,” wrote Chiefs.
"The release of Dax leaves Chiefs with five registered foreign players, namely: Daniel Akpeyi, James Kotei, Samir Nurković, Leonardo Castro and Lazarous Kambole,” added the club.
Meanwhile, Chiefs are set to welcome SuperSport United in an Absa Premiership game tomorrow night at 6 pm from the FNB Stadium.
